- Photos (Progress Tracking): If you use the progress photo feature, your photos are stored locally on your device only. We do not upload, access, or process your photos on any server.
- Notification Preferences: Your selected reminder times are stored locally to schedule local notifications on your device.
2. Information We Do NOT Collect
- We do not use analytics or tracking tools.
- We do not collect your location data.
- We do not use advertising identifiers.
- We do not share, sell, or rent any personal data to third parties.
- We do not transmit any data off your device.
3. Data Storage
All data generated by the App (including your profile, preferences, and progress photos) is stored exclusively on your device using local storage mechanisms (AsyncStorage and the device's file system). We do not operate any servers or databases that store user data.
4. Third-Party Services
FaceGlow may use the following third-party services strictly for App functionality:
- Apple App Store / Google Play Store: For app distribution and, if applicable, in-app purchase processing. These platforms have their own privacy policies.
- Expo / React Native: The development framework used to build the App. No user data is collected by these frameworks in production builds.
5. Children's Privacy
FaceGlow is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us.
6. Your Rights
Since all your data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over it at all times. You can:
- Delete all app data by uninstalling the App.
- Reset your profile and preferences within the App's settings.
